For the past couple of years, the Design Suite at the Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy has been my favourite place to work. It’s a small but brilliant co-working space made for creatives, and it’s honestly such an inspiring spot.
One of the things I love most is the equipment available – huge dual monitors (total game-changer for design work!), 3D printers, a laser cutter, a Cricut machine, and plenty of other creative tools you can use. Whether you’re working on digital design or hands-on projects, it’s all there when you need it.
The staff are so friendly and make it feel really welcoming, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to focus. And the cherry on top? 20% off in the café, which is perfect for those much-needed coffee breaks!
I always seem to get loads done when I’m here. There’s just something about the space in Kirkcaldy that makes it easy to focus and feel inspired. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who’s creative and wants a proper space to work – it definitely beats trying to work in a noisy coffee shop!
